GeoSpock’s top team is heading to the Cambridge Wireless International Conference (CWIC) next week, with our CEO Richard Baker and CTO Steve Marsh set to provide unmissable insights into ‘Mobilising the future with Contextual Intelligence’.
GeoSpock present at CWIC 2018
Richard and Steve’s presentation on the topic will take place as part of the ‘Mobility into the future’ session, which will run from 14:10-15:25 on Wednesday, July 4 at the Francis Crick Auditorium at the world-famous scientific research centre, Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, just outside Cambridge.
The presentation will focus on how location data is the king of context when it comes to making smart decisions.
Unlocking hidden data
At GeoSpock, we are well aware that the world is progressing rapidly towards a world of unimaginably extreme data, which is siloed due to the complexity of serving a small subset of discrete use cases.
However, Richard and Steve will have the opportunity to tell delegates about how our expertise of space and time big data engineering unlocks the hidden value in data silos.
With the aim of establishing a holistic and complete contextual understanding of the technology that supports our lives and, in particular, the M2M physical data world, attendees will hear how GeoSpock’s approach will link up the ‘smart’ worlds of mobility, infrastructure, cities, energy and health.
As a Silver Sponsor of CWIC 2018 and an Exhibitor at Stand No.9, GeoSpock will have a strong delegation at this renowned and established technology and innovation conference, which this year has the tagline, ‘Thinking Beyond the Hype’.
Smart capabilities
In the exhibition area, we are looking forward to discussing with delegates how we have developed our extreme data management and indexing capabilities and what we can offer ‘smart’ operators across a variety of sectors.
We will also have the chance to update attendees about the fantastic news we received just days ago from Liverpool City Council and Smart Liverpool, which will deploy our solution in the city after GeoSpock was granted a prestigious Mayor Challenge accolade at the Smart Cities Realised event.
CWIC 2018 will explore the technologies, business models and impacts of seven technology areas through a combination of panel sessions, keynotes and networking opportunities, with 30 stellar speakers lined up to discuss:
- 5G and network innovation
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Blockchain
- Future mobility ecosystems
- Industrial IoT and the connected enterprise
- Mixed reality
- Satellites
After registration opens at 08:30, the conference’s opening remarks are scheduled for 09:30, with the programme concluding at 18:00 before a drinks reception and gala dinner at Hinxton Hall.
